SEVENDUST Guitarist Starts Solo Debut
September 12, 2008According to The Pulse of Radio, SEVENDUST guitarist Clint Lowery entered a studio on Thursday (September 11) to begin recording his first solo album. Work on the project is expected to be finished by the end of October, although a release date has yet to be determined. Lowery's brother and former DARK NEW DAY bandmate, Corey Lowery, is producing the record. Clint is currently streaming demos of three tracks at his MySpace page.
The guitarist, a founding member of SEVENDUST, rejoined the group earlier this year after a five-year absence during which he worked with DARK NEW DAY and KORN.
SEVENDUST itself will hit the road later this month for a new round of fall dates, beginning on September 27 in Memphis, Tennessee.
The band is supporting its latest album, "Chapter VII: Hope and Sorrow", which came out last spring. The set's current single, "The Past", features a guest appearance from Chris Daughtry.
